Holon Publishing: Odame
The ask
Holon Publishing asked me to film a conversation between Jeremy Gotwals and Lulu Odame about Lulu's life.
What I found
Lulu's story carries itself. Growing up with almost nothing in Adimra, Ghana. A tractor accident at 14, and a grandmother who wouldn't let them take his leg. Then America.
My job was to keep the cameras out of the way.
How it was made
Two cameras on one conversation, one wide and one close, with separate sound, in a brick loft in March 2026.
What it became
This 15-second cut comes from a much longer conversation.
